Rowdytown five was one for the books! I got the grand opportunity of being a Lil’G which is a group of people that work with Big Gigantic on the days of the show to help assure them that their crowd is being taken care of. All night we handed out waters, t-shirts, water bottles, hats, candy, and more to people. The smile’s I got back were priceless.
Colorado has all sorts of hidden gems. Some lie around every corner, while others stay hidden in the most unsuspecting places. As Colorado locals we try our best to experience the rich and diverse culture that thrives here. Every so often we stumble on places we heard about from a friend or something we saw online. Colorado Culture approved was born from these places and events.
On June 4th, 2016 the Disco Biscuits made it back to Red Rocks along with Ghostland Observatory and Twiddle. Twiddle set off the show, while Ghostland Observatory helped entertain the audience between the two sets of Disco Biscuits. The openers brought quite the appropriate mood for the headliner; Disco Biscuits. Consisting of four men; one on the guitar, one on bass, one on drums, and one on the keyboard, they create a soothing combination of what some describe as “trance fusion.” This jam band can go from electronic to rock to techno-house to trance all while maintaining the same general vibe.
