Full of cultural articles, ideas, and events that are easily accessible and informative, it appeals to culture enthusiasts of all ages and types with a goal to serve Colorado and the people who visit with a fresh look on the vast culture that thrives here.
For reviews, our goal is to capture the visceral experience of a particular event, translate that experience to words, and allow readers to either re-live and contrast their own experience with ours, while also enabling those who couldn't attend to re-live it vicariously through our account.

Sup Cultureheads?  It’s been a while.  Being that I’ve spent the majority of 2017 haunting many of the underground music venues here in Denver, when I was offered a chance to cover Gryffin’s sold-out Denver leg of his Castle in the Sky tour, I felt the need to embrace the change of pace. Since the start of his career, Gryffin has gained recognition for remixing some well-known songs such as Tove Lo's "Talking Body", Maroon 5's "Animals" and Years & Years' "Desire”, branding each with his self-described “melodic house” style of production.

Arise Music Festival 2017 Review
Once again festival goers arrived in masses to take on Arise festival 2017. Celebrating their
fifth year up and running the turnout was beautiful to say the least. Crowds full of smiling faces
sprinkled the grounds. Seems like being surrounded by beautiful mountain views and lovely
tunes will do that to a person. Personally, I thought what truly made the festival magnificent
were the interactive workshops, classes, discussions, village areas and art.

Take Note Colorado: Music for Education (Review)

The Take Note Colorado concert was Governor Hickenlooper’s kick off for his music initiative to improve and increase children’s access to musical education.  “Twenty years from now, people are going to say, ‘Were you at that first Take Note concert?’ And you’ll say, ‘Yeah! I was there,’ ” Hickenlooper said to the crowd.  With high hopes, the 1STBANK Center was about two thirds full, packed with people who came together for education and to see some of their favorite artists perform some of their greatest hits.
